- Payment information (managed solely by the provider Stripe/PayPal — CityGuide does not have access to it).
- City or audio guide purchased.
b) When using the application
- Geolocation data (only if you authorize it) to detect nearby points of interest.
- Technical data: phone model, operating system, language, app version (improvement and compatibility).
- Anonymized usage data (viewing statistics, listening time, etc.).
No sensitive data (health, religion, politics, etc.) is collected.
3. Purposes of processing
- Provide access to your audio guide and user account.
- Send you your unique activation code and the associated instructions.
- Ensure the proper technical functioning of the application (geolocation, notifications, updates).
- Improve the user experience and service performance.
- Send, if you consent to it, special offers or news by email.
4. Legal basis for processing
- The performance of a contract (access to the purchased audio guide).
- Explicit consent (geolocation, marketing emails, cookies).
- The legitimate interest of CityGuide (security, service improvement).
5. Retention period
- Account and purchase data: 3 years after the last use or account deletion.
- Billing data: 10 years (legal obligation).
- Geolocation data: in real time only, not stored after use.
- Anonymized statistical data: kept indefinitely for global analysis purposes.
6. Data sharing
CityGuide does not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. The only data transmitted is to our technical providers (host, payment processor, anonymized analytics tools) and to competent authorities, solely in the event of a legal obligation. All providers are compliant with the GDPR and located within the European Union, or offer equivalent guarantees (standard contractual clauses validated by the European Commission).

8. Your rights

9. Cookies and analytics tools
The site uses cookies for proper functioning (cart, payment, preferences) and anonymized performance measurements (Google Analytics, etc.). No cookie is activated without your explicit consent. You can manage or refuse cookies via the authorization banner or your browser settings.
10. Location and mobile permissions
The application may request access to your GPS location solely to display nearby points of interest and trigger audio tours. This data is never stored or transmitted. You can enable or disable geolocation at any time from your phone settings.
11. Transfers outside the EU
No data transfer outside the European Union is carried out, unless a third-party provider (hosting, analytics) applies the standard contractual clauses validated by the European Commission.

CityGuide may modify this policy at any time. Users will be informed of any major update via the site or the application. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document.
